Roman Ilya Ilf and Yevgeny Petrov, "The Twelve Chairs," the adventures of a "great strategist" Ostap Bender, frequently reprinted and translated into dozens of languages. The work was first published in the Soviet journal "30 Days" in 1928 and has gained international fame. A brief description of the plot throughout the novel duo Ostap Bender and Kitties Vorobyaninov Tiffany Treasures is looking for Kitties - Madame Petukhova, namely diamonds, hidden in one of 12 chairs elegant headset Master Gambs.
