Great!! Very surprised how well this works. Translates words live when focused on individual text in menus for example. Tried French,German & Dutch.

Useless! Chinese listed as translatable language but won't reliably translate even the clearest text I can find. Numerous incorrect characters appear in translation box. No means to crop out unwanted text. Inconsistent number of characters in translation box. Consistently 'Can't connect to server' through wi-fi. (Everything else I have works through my wi-fi) Languages listed alphabetically would make them easier to find. Uninstalled.

Wow! Pretty amazing. Just tried it with my Nexus S on an Ikea add in Icelandic, and a business card from Taiwan. It wasn't perfect but recognized many

Tried on Asus Transformer (Honeycomb) with simplified and traditional Chinese and Spanish. The results were impressive. Occasionally confused by punctuation, and has a tendency to pop up the correct character / word briefly, then refocus and lose it before translating. Handles a surprising range of fonts and background colors. Would love to see offline translation, and either multi-word translation or the ability to add original / translated words to a clipboard buffer. Even as is, very useful, though...

The program itself is smooth, fast and simple, but when I tested this on a Hebrew word printed at 100 font size it still couldn't translate

I'm sure there is room for development, e.g. availability of offline dictionary but it's still staggeringly good at what it aims to do. Very useful.
