This version REQUIRES root permissions. Other AnyConnect images are available without this requirement.
This technical preview supports Android 2.2 with root access. AnyConnect for Android 4.0 devices is now available, identified as the "AnyConnect ICS" package.
COMPATIBLE DEVICES:
This release supports rooted Android 2.2 devices. A compatible tun.ko module is required, which should be placed in /data/local/kernel_modules/ if the tun module is not built into the kernel. The iptables binary is also required.
For those without root access, a fully supported production AnyConnect for platforms is available as a separate download from Google Play.
We cannot guarantee compatibility, but look forward to your feedback.

I must be dreaming that this thing is working! Finally something that works! Connects both wifi + 3g (using cyanogenmod 7).

Broken! Client connects and disconnects now. And I don't have a backup of the last version. Arrrgh..

Works great with anyconnecct on my ASA and on IOS! I have 4 android devices and it works flawlessly on all of them. If you can't get it working or are having problems, it's a device/user/configuration issue... NOT an app issue. Hats off, now just make one that doesn't require root (and a regular IPSec client would be nice too! ;)

Works good on my EVO 4G but issues with TUN/TAP on EVO 3G help me out Cisco

Dinc MIUI works. Improved after last update. No longer autostarting and popping up messages after update. Many thanks!

I like being able to access local resources from anywhere with this app. I hope cisco will add a battery save feature if possible.

Luckily I rolled back to an earlier build. I don't understand the need to jump through hoops pushing the tun.ko module and installation. Why can't Cisco come out with a product that just works.

Works very well on a rooted Bionic, when in 4g mode. However, it connects very sporadically in 3g mode, if at all. We have this working on 7 Bionics, and they all exhibit the same behavior.

I receive an error after entering my username and password saying something about no license. Anybody???

Works great. Those who are complaining about "group authentication" are looking for the wrong product. AnyConnect is an alternative to IPSEC VPNs and replaces it. AnyConnect doesn't have or need group authentication. If you need "group authentication" then you're not looking for an AnyConnect client. The problem is not this product but your worksite not buying Cisco's new much easier to use VPN product.
