LiveWare™ Manager

Smart Connect (LiveWare™ Manager) allows you to decide what happens when you connect your smartphone to another device. Smart Connect is provided from Android 4.0.

With Smart Connect you can:
• Manage devices
• Manage smart accessories like SmartWatch, Smart Wireless Headset Pro or SmartTags. Smart Connect downloads any applications needed for the smart accessories. (Subject to availability).
• Trigger events when you connect to a device or on a preset time. You can set your phone to start the music player when you connect to a headset, or to play a specified playlist when you come home. A rich set of preconfigured actions are available from the start.

Important notice!

Users running earlier versions of Android are advised to use LiveWare™ Manager and will not be able to install Smart Connect on their smartphones unless they upgrade their phone software to Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich).

I made the huge mistake of buying the sony ericsson watch thinger and expecting it to work. It's almost absurd to think they'd put out two apps that simply don't work, rendering the watch thing useless. It'd make a great paperweight, but it's not even heavy enough to do that properly. NO STARS

I've configured this so that when the Bluetooth connection to my car stereo is made, it automatically launches Sky.fm for streaming music. No more fumbling once in the car to start the app! My guess is you can setup any installed app like say Pandora to do the same thing. I also set it up so that when I plug into AC power, it starts CLOCK with a nice clock and weather display (which does dim and move to prevent screen damage issues). This came pre-installed on my Xperia Ray. I see that it also runs on other Android devices.

After phone restart, do not open radio when headset is inserted. When open radio, it do not remember last lissened radio station. Impossible to make call using LiveKey. Only TrackID and Camera works as applications.
