A virtual hourglass demo for your phone. The movement of each grain is calculated using a granular physics model.

The grains move depending on gravity. Runs out in about a minute, but results may vary! Damping can be adjusted for faster or slower flow.

The beauty of this is it changes directions as you rotate your phone so you can do 3, 4, etc mins. Realistic color sand would trump the cartoon bubble
