Use our website to sync with your credit cards and bank accounts to track purchases as they happen. We'll even pull in eReceipts, digital copies of the paper receipts you normally have to carry around, for most purchases under $75. Any remaining out of pocket purchases can be logged right from your phone!

For any purchases that are made with cash or are not eligible for eReceipts, turn your Android in to a receipt scanner by snapping a picture of the receipt! Our app will scan the image and pull out the merchant, date and amount of the transaction. We will use this information to either create a new cash expense or attach the receipt to it's matching credit card purchase.

Add in any remaining mileage expenses and you have a completely documented view of all spending. Log in to your account at https://www.expensify.com to pick and choose which expenses should be added to an expense report. We'll email a PDF of your report to anyone with an email address for their approval. You can even be reimbursed directly to a checking account, all online!

Explanation of app permissions used:
Contacts: The app only reads the email address of a contact that you specifically choose to invite to Expensify.
Accounts: The app uses this to pre-fill your email address into fields, so you don't have to type it.
Internet: This is used to sync receipts and expenses with your account online.
Phone state: This is used to detect when an internet connection is present.
GPS: This is only used when you use the GPS mileage feature.
Camera: This is used to snap pictures of receipts.

One thing I dread the most about starting my own business, is the finance part of things. That's why I think this app is just awesome. It makes managing my expenses so much easier and my accountant (my mom) is not pulling her hair out with all the receipts.

I really like this app. I can pull in all my expenses and attach the receipts with comments/notes. There's the option of scanning the receipts so that you don't have to manually input the receipt details. Very useful app.

I am forever trying to find my receipts and submit my expenses in a timely fashion. I end up killing a perfectly good weekend organising an expense form, pulling together receipts and photocopying them. Now every time I get one I take a photo of it and later go online and put it on a monthly expense. This is going to save me a whole saturday, and for those who work away from home know, your weekends are very precious. Thanks for this.

Looked great. Seemed to work as advertised. Until I tried uploading scanned receipts and entered expenses. Lost. Tried to work with Expensify and they could not solve either. Probably needs work to ensure data doesn't get lost.

Took a little getting used to, but I worked through it and now can't live without it! Manages all my expenses in a very organized way and I can then sign into the website and have an expense report printed out or emailed to accounting-perfect for me. Allows you to take a picture of a receipt and it will pull all the information from it including amount (even if it's written in after leaving a tip), vendor, date and time. Great job!

I do trips abroad and some events. This app is the easiest way to keep track of expenses and submit reports. Although I obviously do not use it every day it is the best app I have ever used and I am not exagerating.
