In Case of Emergency
ICE is designed to be a great help in case of emergency. The first helper is able to see who to call and which person he deals with in only a few clicks.
The icon had to be changed due to German law. The red cross symbol is protected and may not be used from third parties.
You can add ICE to your lockscreen with the app "WidgetLocker". There will be no own lockscreen implementation because of many different Android devices and versions.
Change the relation of a contact by choosing edit & tapping the current role.
The password is not used to protect the data from being read - it's used to protect the data from being changed.

Great app but I feel it's missing something. Make bigger widgets? A bigger red cross as one of my widgets would really give me a sense of security

I was surprised that this app only has one mode: edit mode. It shows in edit mode even if accessed from the lock screen. This is the main flaw of this app. I think it would be better to have separate files for Phone Owner and Medical Data. And there should be a photo field for the Phone Owner so medics can see the phone goes with the person. In the Information file, the headers for the entries should be in a more distinctive format and/or color, and these should be configurable.

Love this app, My only concern is what happens when your phone locks on it's own? How will the emergency team view the information?

Won't work if your phone is locked. I think that's a no-no since everyone locks their phone nowadays.

changes / dupes / drops my meds, medical history, etc. very unstable, unreliable. could be dangerous in an emergency. uninstall - HTC G2 & galaxy tab

Easy set up with all pertanent info for EMT's and LEO's to view. I would like to see this on the locked screen though. If you phone is locked with a passcode or swipecode, they will not be able to see any of it. You may not be able to give them the code when then need it.

Like the concept. But it doesn't store data consistently. I have to go in periodically to reenter data that has been deleted somehow.

Stopped unexpectedly all the time, very frustrating. I depend on this app to notify someone if there's an emergency. Uninstalling!
