The Big Local App is a mobile app developed for the local community by AppHouse UK. It is a dedicated local resource directory bringing together businesses, local news, events and information to provide real value to users in a way that national directories cannot.

In BLA, each listed partner and business becomes an important facet of the app, bringing fresh, up-to-date information and ­a real reason for users to keep opening and exploring its content.

- Using your GPS, the app will also let you search by distance from your location and provide maps and directions.

This local directory will provide a business listing exclusively for companies trading in the local area. Companies can subscribe to the app, giving them a listing in up to two business categories at different service levels.
