The IKEA catalogue was first introduced in 1951, which means that it has been around for more than 60 years! The first Android version was launched 2011 and just like the printed 2013 IKEA catalogue, the Android version is packed with inspiration and well-designed home furnishing solutions for every need and every wallet! The catalogue includes around 350 images, showing some 1.000 products, out of the 10.000 products in the total IKEA range.
This year we have made it possible to unlock exciting extra content in the catalogue. By scanning selected pages in the printed catalogue you will be able to access additional images, films, and 3D models. Just look for the pages in the printed IKEA Catalogue 2013 that have the smart phone icon on the top right corner. Note that you need to scan the whole page, the symbol itself is not enough to recognize a page and get the extra content.
This application lets you download the latest edition of the IKEA catalogue for the following countries:

App itself is empty: catalog is a 50 MB download, with no warning of size and no option to move to SD. You get the magazine pages with hotspots, search is useless, very very slow navigation. A disaster in every way. Uninstall, Nexus S.

Crashed on first use. Doesn't perform background tasks well. Like downliading

Improper Design The catalogue should by default be saved to SD Card, not the phone memory. Hope it will get improved soon.

This app is like a bloated document viewer. By far one of the worst apps from a major retailer. It uses an ABSURD amount of memory. It's often completely unresponsive to taps. And worst of all it is an app version of the catalogue to the point it even has page numbers. Awful. I don't know why they bothered - it offers nothing over the web site. Such a lost opportunity.
