It is dipicted that the reservoir and farm village scenary in Sanuki Plain,
and the rain-making dance ritual. There are the spirit of enterprise and
salesmanship of people living in Sanuki. It is told that all roads in Sanuki
lead to Konpira Shrine. Konpira-gu is the place said that people must come
and play once in their lifetime along with Ise Grand Shrine. There are 785
steps of stone. People ascends here, and gathers from all over the country
to share the grace of god. People in Sanuki have opened reservoir,
cultivated rice, made sugar and salt, and produced paper fan. What will they
make next? They will be living unflaggingly.

"Japanese Poetry" is the valuable documentary film series of the manners from all over Japan in 1965 to 1966 supervised by Tsuneichi Miyamoto who is the most renowned folklorist in Japan.

The theme of this film is research of "people's life history".

Falkways, events, lives and technics of all over the country are showed with collecting the specialty of each country.
"The poem in life" is expressed in this film.
