Works like a dream on my xperia neo and records in excellent stereo (44.1 and 48 KHz no problem). No distortion noted yet but I haven't tried a really loud environment yet. Looks neat too except for the ugly VU meter. Seems to have some problems with random clicking on playback of mp3s (no clicks with wav files) - clicks that aren't in the original file. So maybe use another app for playback but this for recording.

Whether or not you have AGC on, I find I get little but distortion in real world situations. This is on a DROID X2 and it could be the hardware

Doesn't record while on the phone. Description says it records while using other apps - I thought that meant while using the phone - guess not.

Best one ever. Very good sound quality. But I can't measure the single period of recording..

No more - no less. DX2

Use it all the time to reliably record for short and long duration. Good playback and compression; would be 5 star if playback speed sped up.
