Great app with so much potential. If it would download the album art it would be perfect 5 stars and I'd leave itunes!

I've used doubleTwist, hoping that it would be a replacement for iTunes, but I've been disappointed time and time again. Syncing is completely unreliable, as I never know when it will sync and when it won't. Maintenance of playlists and content is too much work, and I can't find any videos that will play properly. I would assume that I could get the app to work better if I invested more time and effort, but I paid $5 for this app and don't think it should be this difficult. I do not recommend.

Playlist issues

I downloaded doubletwist because the default player (HTC Incredible) couldn't handle playlists at all. This is an improvement, but I can't organize my audiobooks because playlists seem to be automatically put in random order on my phone - also bad if you want to listen to stand-up routines with mutliple tracks or podcasts. I can listen to albums in order if I go through the artists (or albums) option, but it's extremely inconvenient if I'm driving. Other than that it's a good alternative to iTunes so far.

Virtually EVERYTHING on my iTunes is 'protected', resulting in this program declaring "We can't play this because it is protected. Playback has been disabled", which renders the thing somewhat pointless. It is NOT a solution for playing your iTunes stuff on your Android phone (as its hyped), unless it's unprotected in which case it's just a normal file you can play normally anyway, which again renders this thing useless. It's also a long download. Save yourself the time and don't bother.

Over 12 MB, and does not allow move &/or install to SD card. And why does this Music Player ALSO not sort songs by Track Number?
