MyPOD is a the ultimate podcast manager - with a number of distinctive features

MyPOD is full-featured and very powerful podcast app for the power-user. It can take a bit of time to learn (there is extensive help available) but with a bit of config it will download and keep you up to date with all your fave audio or video podcasts ... no syncing with desktops or other servers.

See below for permission usage ...

If you have a particular problem you want help with, then SEND ME AN EMAIL (use email link in settings or on the app page) - I can't really help you if you just leave a comment as I can't get back to you ...

It is quite popular with podcast junkies. If you like it please take the time to leave a comment ... it *really* is appreciated.

People seem to love it or hate it ... If you have problems, then get in touch via the feedback links in the settings page or below - I am always eager to help. the UI feedback is not great as you can see from the comments - but the people who get it, like it - so it might be worth your time. But if you are a UI snob then this app is most likely not for you. Some people just want simple apps with a few options - this is not that app.

Works very well after you learn to use interface

This is a wonderful app, just a little difficult to learn the interface but it does have tons of features once you dig in. The developer is super helpful when you have a problem an very quick to answer. I am glad that I have found this app, worth paying for to support a great developer.

complicated but good

I first posted this: "After several hours of trying to master this complicated app I finally gave up as it just doesn´t consistently download episodes for the feed I follow - and that is with the paid version." Then shortly afterwords I figured out the problem and have decided that this app is really quite good if you are willing to learn it. The Help pages are useful but could be expanded and FAQs added.

Works well

This app has lots of functionality. The UI can be a bit frustrating. It works well once you figure it out. Check out the podcast docs; nice.

Broken

If you get your Google Reader username & password wrong, it's impossible to go back and fix them. Also, the 10 feed limit should be made more prominent - it makes the free version pretty useless.

Was good... Not anymore

Used to be quite good. Now constantly crashes. Corrupts podcasts. Fails to download many podcats. Even corrupted me SD card. Dont use this trash.

Can't read it

No mater what it does or doesn't do, it has the smallest text I've ever seen on my Droid X. I can't read it.

Tried Others, Finally Bought This

Did take me some time to learn the interface, but now works well. Other apps did not pick up podcasts I wanted.

Loads of features but search was inadequate for me sadly.

Great app for most users but most of my fav podcasts didnt come up in search. Easy to use, logical design. Just wanted the same pcs as got from Itunes

Good tool. Lots of options.

It seems that there is no perfect podcast app for Android yet, but this one gets the job done. The author is responsive to issues as they arise and he is always trying to improve his product.
