Nanoloop is a complete sequencer/synthesizer/sampler package with clear, minimalistic graphical interface. It runs smoothly not just on high end phones (Desire, Droid etc) but also on older, mid-range and low end devices.

FM synthesis done right! Totally gets the frequency coarse sounds of the Yamaha DX series. Haven't fully utilized the song sequencer, but created plenty of usable loops to dump into Renoise and Ableton. The sampler is fun, and the rectangle wave gives plenty off bass. My favorite music app by far. Very versatile once you get the learning curve.

With enough creativity you can make some real music with this. UI is FANTASTIC. Slight learning curve, but then you can do SO MUCH.
