PLUG IT: Plug TuneLink into your car’s 12V power supply
PAIR IT: Enable Bluetooth and pair once to your “TuneLink” unit
PLAY IT: Use the FM transmitter or Direct Connect option to play your music through your car speakers
SHARE IT: Set the share mode you want active through the TuneLink application

The app's description clearly states that you need to own the ~$85 Tunelink hardware for this app to be of any use. I own that hardware and it's excellent. I've also installed this app and it controls the hardware just fine. In my opinion the manufacturer correctly handles the situation by letting us get their software from the market instead of forcing us off somewhere else.

I was a beta tester on a Droid 2. First beta version had disconnect issues. All issues have been fixed and this is a great product. Use it in two cars. One with an audio input and the other over FM. Both work great.

Showed my mate the little cigarette lighter toggle and loved it straight away. Love that you can tube via the app. Downside is I forget to take it out

After comparing the TuneLink and SoundFly FM transmitters, I'd recommend that you don't waste your time, money, and phone space on this app & device.

Auto connect, auto music start doesn't work on gs2. App is only usefull if FM streaming is used. BT dongle works great though.
