The app works great on my Droid incredible 2 but can't install on my xoom which is an obvious and utter disappointment. update: i will have to unsubscribe from the economist digital subscription (revenue loss!) and sign up through Zinio or Kindle if this app does not come out for the xoom tablet soon.

The new update eats the battery

Not sure what happened with the new update that came out a few days ago, but since then the app is using roundabout 50% of the CPU (not always, but quite often), which drains the battery like hell. (on SGS2). Also, another bug, which I think also came with the new update, the app resets to the frontpage when switching between this and other programs, rather than actually staying in the article I was reading. Apart from that, if the app worked as it's supposed to, it's a good one.

New update is causing app to use 50% of battery life, within 30 minutes. I would avoid this update until they fix this.

I use Galaxy S2. Love the app otherwise, but will revise rating only once they release a new update as it is currently unusable.
