Force closes a lot. Also, I'm pretty sure it ate my Google account. Had to factory reset my phone. Really great when you can actually use it though. D

Great App

though it does have all the features that some of the paid RSS readers have this app hits the basics and with the new update has a very streamline sexy design. It's easy to use and I love the new support for Honeycomb Tablets (Android 3.x and up).

Good stuff

Great reader. Needs to lose some weight, though. I don't see why it's cache needs to take up 10+ MB.

Removed "mark prior unread?"

Killing that feature was a terrible idea. How do I get the old app back, since the new app sucks. The web based HTML5 reader works a lot better. Sad.

Good for managing feeds, not so much for reading

Pro: Subscription management. Searching. Gives you a "Note in Reader" option in the 'share' menu (which lets you apply tags). Con: No pinch-zoom. No swiping for next article. Layout is tablet-optimized, but not stellar. No dark theme. I use Justreader for the reading, and Google Reader for the 'advanced' stuff I mentioned under pros. Reader HD is a sort of mix between these two, but it falls short in certain aspects. Asus Transformer, HC 3.2.

Huge step backwards

I've used Google Reader since I got my phone (Droid Incredible) and have loved it, but this new version is so slow and has problems. If I mark all items as read, after waiting for them to be marked as read, sometimes it still says I have unread items. Sometimes it just takes me to a blank page when I try to back up to the main page. I really hope they can optimize this app and work out some of the bugs soon!

Tablet version is nice, but no FS in Landscape

The only issue I have is you can't get rid of the Topics Pane when viewing in Landscape (you can in Portrait, so all you see is the Back/Next buttons and the currently-viewed message. Fix that, and it'll be perfect!

New update is horrible.

I love this app. I've used it since it first came out. However, since the last update, it force closes all the time, hangs loading items, etc.

I use Google Reader on my phone more than any other app and have been waiting forever to get an optimized version for tablets. It's finally here and it works flawlessly. Very happy!

Last update removed the mark previous as read which I used all the time to keep my read list manageable. It also force closes all the time now.
