i use it in the car since i don't have coverage for WNYC near home. if it's not running in the foreground, it shuts down and disappears. no "quits unexpectedly" message. poof! it's gone. and why does it take four clicks to get to my favorites. volume is much lower than other apps (like my GPS apps) and it could use a longer audio buffer. i really want to love this. really. but it's just not reliable on my bone stock Atrix 4G

I tried to install NPR News on my stock 2.3 Haipad M701 tablet. Keep getting "This app is incompatible ... your device's content rating filter is incompatible..." Google needs to remove all of the hoops one needs to jump through to install an app. WTF? NPR News is INCOMPATIBLE? WTF? I want to like Google and Android, but they need to QUIT BEING EVIL (or STUPID) - let ME decide what I want to install, not some frickin' algorithm! This is NOT NPR's fault.

This app had trouble maintaining its stream on iPhone AT&T 3G and (curiously) is worse on Android T-Mobile 4G, continuous gaps, painful perhaps. Love NPR but the app needs work.

When one selects a fav, app should key in station not program. Pauses play frequently not d/t buffering. InTune better app.

Can't believe an app this polished is free, but then again it its NPR. Keep up the good work
