Emulator of the HP 48 scientific calculator, using RPN. Port of the X48 project (sources available on github). HP48's "grayscale mode" cannot be emulated.

It's an emulator, but it's also just an amazing calculator through and through. Having never owned an HP48, and not having a justification for actually buying one, this scratches my RPN itch in addition to being far more intuitive. All around solid, and I love it like a newborn baby made out of calculators.

Excellent app, thank you so much for making this great emulation available. It's used every day and always available right on my phone whenever I need it - no need to haul around the 48GX anymore. Runs very well on new Sprint Samsung Nexus S 4G. Excellent especially for a "weekend project"! Thank you!

As an engineer and a math teacher of 20+ years, I have worked with several different calculators (HP & TI). I cut my teeth in college on a 28C and later the 48G (both of which I still have on my desk), but IMHO the HP48 is one of the best calculators ever made. This app makes the calculator live forever on the Android. The graphics and layout are identical to the real thing.. only difference is the faster speed. This can be the last calculator you will ever need in your lifetime. It is THAT good.

Please port the HP48SX !!!!!!

This app is great. But the keys and functions are somewhat different than the original 48SX design which I cut my teeth on. It would be great to have a port of that particular build. (Possibly a toggle switch in the preferences to switch back and forth between Rom builds?). Anyway great work on this program!

Great App- but for some reason uses 10% power-Why?

Love the app- but why do I see the calculator battery monitor registrering that Droid48 is using 10% or power (very high compared to everything else except the display), when I haven't even run the app for more than a minute. I can't seem to find the process which I can kill which will stop this. Anyone else have this problem?
