The Evernote Widget lets you go directly to core Evernote features right from your home screen.
Two widget options:
- Small widget: Create new text, snapshot and audio notes, and jump to the search screen.
- Large widget: Same as the small widget, plus snippets of recently viewed notes.
How to install:
Once you install this app, tap and hold on the home screen, then select your preferred widget from the popup.
The story behind this widget:
We want every users to have the best Evernote experience possible. Unfortunately, if Evernote is installed on the SD card, then the widgets that comes with the app are unavailable. Thanks to this Evernote Widget application, anyone can take advantage of this time saving feature regardless of where Evernote is installed.

That's what I call innovation and dedication! Wish other SW companies would think like this. Thanks!

It's a GOOD widget, but it would be a GREAT widget if it had... - the ability to choose which shortcuts I want on the widget. I use the new photo note most often and not so much the others. - the ability to resize each shortcut to 1x1, 2x2 etc

Great workaround for the widget limitation. Wish more apps offered this option.

The widget allows users to push their Evernote app (not widget) to their SD card saving space on your internal memory. Moving the app disallows widget

I love that evernote had the forethought to create this app to help folks who want to move the main app to their sd card. Very lightweight, too.

I can get my notes anywhere. Cell, Tablet, and PC

Same widgets as what comes with the main app. Allows for the main app to be moved to the SD card. With 8gb internal, I don't use it.

I love Evernote for remembering things I read on the internet, keeping notes, and easily synchronizing everything between multiple devices.
