The Microsoft Tag app lets you instantly connect to a whole new world of information and entertainment. This latest version now reads Microsoft Tag barcodes and QR Codes as well as NFC touchpoints for those with NFC-enabled devices. No need to type long URLs or text short codes, simply scan a 2D barcode or tap a touchpoint wherever you see one. Tag recognition technologies transform traditional marketing, such as print advertising, billboards, packaging and LCD displays, into live links that immediately access info, videos and other materials online... no typing required.

it's a little bit too fast thought.... So where can i find these microsoft tags...??

Took 1 sec to scan. The tag was bent, on my lap, not in focus. App doesn't claim to scan QR so shouldn't have low rating. GS Captivate

AWESOME! Didn't expect it to work. It scanned and went straight to website in less than 5 seconds. It scanned tag before I had it centered. Nexus s

No support for qr codes or bar codes. Neat interface but not very lite or fast. Too much unnessary junk. Stupid to have a different tag format.

App won't focus camera lens to take photo. Colored tags with glossy magazine print...bad combo. DROID X

I downloaded so I could scan a code and couldn't because it would not focus the camera image to where it could see the tag. Droid Bionic XT875

I just wish more products would use the tags. I like being able to read reviews & see what kind of experience others have had with a product.

I know I look awesome using this, but don't take my word for it; go into a store that has Microsoft and qr codes on products, and scan away. Cool huh?

I am not a fan of the MS tag. The QR tag should be the standard. I used the app begrudgingly. It is slick. The visual history is cool.
