F.A.Q
* How to add widget to home screen
On phone home screen press "menu", then "add", click on "widgets" and choose "Simple Calendar Widget" from the list
(If you can't press add button for some reason, workaround is to press and hold any space on the home screen and a menu pops up)
On most of devices with Android 4.0 widget can be found under "Widgets" tab in app drawer
* Can't find simple calendar in list of Widgets
Try to restart home launcher application (or device)
* Re-size widget
Android 3.0 supports by default. For older Android versions this can be dome by installing alternative home launcher application
* Options missing since Simple Calendar Widget 2.3 update (Alternative layouts, Line color, Scrollable hack)
The options can be found in menu under Skin -> Simi Skin -> Alternative layouts/Options
* Show weather forecast on the widget
Just set it up in settings of desktop version of Google calendar.
For steps just search for "Weather forecasts in your calendar" in Google.
* Include more interesting calendars like holidays, birthday dates or sport news.
Search for "Add interesting calendars from Google Calendar" and follow the instructions

Overall a very good looking widget, but..

..does not work with my Lotus Notes calendar. Tapping on the widget gets me there well, but does not show upcoming events. If you make a data counter widget and quick settings widget looking excactly the same, I'd be very thankful.

Awesome Widget

Works perfectly on my LG Esteem. It's not a memory hog, it is highly customization. You will love this widget if your like me and favor a clean and simplistic approach. Other calendar widgets are way to flashy, take up memory and throttle CPU. This one is perfect!

Simple, Elegant & Customizable

Not only does the widget work perfectly for me (if I have an event within 24 hours, it shows on the home screen, if not, there are no messages and at 0% opacity it looks like there is nothing even there), but the developer was very responsive to my concerns about CPU usage and pushed out an update within 24 hours. That gets 5 stars in my book.

Just perfect

I have a Samsung Stratosphere, and as far as I can tell, Samsung doesn't provide a calendar widget. Searching around a bit, I found some that a buck or two, but this one is free and does exactly what I'm looking for. The default options aren't my cup of tea -- it only shows the next event by default. So, switch to a skin that will show multiple events, choose a layout that looks good with multiple, and you're good to go, if that's what you want. This widget is just configurable, I cannot imagine not being able to set it up exactly how you want it. Enjoy!

Very good indeed

This is an excellent app, and the configurable options are more than anyone could wish for. Only drawbacks I can see are: 1. No contact picture next to events relating to contacts (eg. birthdays) 2. Would be nice if age also shown next to contact birthdays 3. The widget cannot be scrolled if the events on display go over a single screen Apart from this, its highly recommended. Great job! I look forward to the above updates! :)

Excellent and elegant. Almost what i'm looking for. If there is a recurrence for the events, i'd pay for it. Thanks

I love it. Would like to be able to adjust the length of the divider bar in 1x5 mode since I use small text font and it goes way too long. Only other thing is 8md like to be able to make the battery icon scoot closer to the top since I keep taskbar hidden. Not big deals though. Looks great and is a perfect compliment for the minimal theme on CM7

Great but one problem

This is a awesome widget but when displaying events, it does not display the right time of the event. If I click on the event it opens the stock calendar app with the correct time. This means that I will have an event showing on the home-screen for hours after it has finished. Please fix this.

nice but could be improved
Frederik - 1969-12-31
Nice and simple. Would like it more if it could open up the calendar to the specific event (or even just the right date), rather than just opening the calendar (main screen). Also would like rounded corners, to fit better together with some other (HTC) widgets. Thinking of switching from HTC Sense launcher to Zeam, and I'm looking for a good Calendar widget (because HTC widgets not available with 3rd party launchers)

Well, it works again, finaly...
