Aircraft Tail Number Lookup

Lookup aircraft by the Tail Number to search FAA data for more information about that aircraft, such as model, engine, seats, owner, and more.

Version 1.8 allows you to choose which items you would like to display in the results. Use the Menu button and click on Prefs. Uncheck items you no longer want to see and they will not be displayed on your search.

Now decodes items such as Aircraft Type, Engine Type, Builder Certification Code, Registrant Type, Owner Region, and Status Code.

Android 2.2 users now have the option to put application on SD Card.

Note: FAA only has info on US based aircraft. Database updated monthly from FAA data. If it doesn't return the number, it's not a United States based aircraft. Do not give bad reviews if it does not find all the planes on your European vacation. This only covers domestic registered aircraft from the United States of America.

Pros: Works well on the Huawei Ascend. Seems to be accurate and/or in-sync with the FAA database. Cons: My personal preference(s) would like to see at least European and CA/MX included as well, but the only real issue I can see is the inability to increase text size.
