LDS Gospel Library is a free app that helps Church members worldwide deepen, broaden, and improve gospel learning by providing mobile access to scriptures, general conferences, magazines, manuals, and other published church content in an easy and immediate offline experience. In addition to reading these materials, you can also create highlights, notes, tags, links, and bookmarks, which can then be synced to your study notebook on LDS.org using your LDS Account.

This is a great app. I love having mobile scriptures. I have one suggestion for you. It would be great to be able to book mark, annotate, and make notes on the text just like is done for the iPhone app. Much appreciated.

great app but needs pdf of manuals

This is a great app, works great on my HTC Incredible phone, and Asus Transformer tablet. However it is really hard to follow along in class because the teacher is always saying "turn to page ... read paragraph ..." but the app does not have pages. So I end up downloading the PDF version. It would be great if this app included the PDF version of the manual, and magazines.

Just as fast or faster

Many have commented on this version being slower. I think what they are experiencing is after you first download the content it has to build an index. If you download a lot of content it can take some time to build the index. While the index is being built, it is slower. However after the indexing is done, it is just as fast or faster than the older version.

Okay, not really praying, but it's a fantastic app that I would love to have on the Xoom. I mean, let's be honest: your righteousness is proportionate to the size of the device you're reading your scriptures on. As a 28 year old, YSA, having this on the Xoom is, without a doubt, exactly what I need if I'm ever to find an eternal companion. No rush devs, it's only my eternal welfare at stake! In all seriousness, this is a great app. I use it all the time on my Original Droid.

I can have Church material in English and other languages (in my case, portuguese is nice). Jus one thing, the app looks nicer on my wife's iphone. But it looks like this is the case with most app out there with iphone versions.

the ability to highlight only a part of a verse, and the ability to underline like Windows Phone has. Aside from that, this app is nearly perfect.

Too Many errors on download of content

Can not download new content and many previously downloaded books and ensign mags won't open. Example: When you try to open Oct 2008 Ensign it kills the app. I have tried and retried to no avail. I have also tried to delete the app and re-download the app, but the content is not erased/deleted and when the app is re installed the old corrupted content is still there. This needs to be fixed!!
