My two favorite Bible readers are this and Crossway's ESV program. Crossway's program is great, but kind of slow on my phone. This one is a bit faster, but also has some great features. One in particular that I like is the ability to have split-screen-- I have the ESV on top and Matthew Henry's Concise Commentary on the bottom. The only thing that's not great is the price of the individual Bibles. The NASB costs $24, which I think is a lot. As I write this, though, the ESV is free for a limited time.

I've used Olive Tree for years across many platforms. My Bibles transfer and the Android app works fantastic.

The best Bible navigation! Plus books, sermons... Slide-up commentary view is innovative. Pity not more free translations

Good start in new platform. Wm reader obviously better. Most needed is l/r swipe to nav by ch. Choose ch/vs w/in current bk/ch nice too.

Features are fantastic! 5 stars for that. But UI needs improvement... Scrolling is very hesitant, stick & go, on my galaxy s. Reduced to 3 stars.

Great concept, but they should let you know that anything other than King James version costs money. Not a little money either, NIV is 20 dollars.

I am very pleased with this app. I like the way the navigation works to get to different chapters and verses. The only issue I have is that on my Epic Touch 4G I can not get it to log in to the store. I have tried using both email and username and nothing works. I know the password is good because if I go the web site it works fine.

This is the best bible software that I have found, functions well and is easy to use, you can bookmark scriptures for study lessons, highlight others, make footnotes on scriptures, and even use the night reading style. I have tried the other main contenders, but this has the best study materials and resources, they may cost a little more, but functions well. Some of the other contenders don't function as well and can be frustrating to use. Well done Olive tree, a reader would be the next thing to work on.
