How do I compare and contribute prices?
Use Smoopa on your smartphone whenever you're out shopping. Scan the barcode on the packaging, select the store you're at, and then enter the price. We will compare it with both online prices from Amazon, Walmart, Target, Best Buy, etc. and in-store prices in our database to determine if it's a good price. The in-store price you entered will then be added to our database and shared with others.
Please note that you'll need to have an account to scan items and contribute prices.
What should I scan?
Use the price scanner on just about anything in the store you are interested in buying, including books, electronics, movies, music, toys, apparel, accessories, shoes, office supplies, housewares, sporting goods, video games, beauty supplies, baby gear, and more.
How are you different than RedLaser, ShopSavvy, Barcode Scanner (ZXing)?
In addition to the price scanner, you get rewarded for using Smoopa while you’re shopping, similar to Shopkick, WeReward, GoSpotCheck, Gigwalk, and CheckPoints.

I've taken this to 3 stores, Meijers, Home depot and Lowe's to price out a 24 foot plastic pipe attachment for a pump and all three times received, "sorry, we cannot find this item in our database" This being new will give benefit of the doubt and keep trying till the end of the week...if I get same results going to uninstall
