Google Picasa Featured Photos

Picasa Photo Search
You can search google picasa public photos, and save your favorite queries. This is a highly customizable function provided, and for example, you can save queries for 'wallpaper', 'megan fox" or "flower".
My Picasa Web Albums
Display your picasa web albums. You can manage your albums, photos with the tool on your phone. Browse the comments to the photo, and add yours if you like. If you do any changes on your albums via picasasweb.google.com, all of those changes will be reflected on your phone.

Very strange albums browsing. Albums are split to several (very small) parts with previous / next buttons navigation. Pretty uncomfortable.

It does what it says... but I don't see this being much better than the standard Gallery tho (sorting isn't enough to make a difference to me). The UI has too many buttons; I'd prefer something a bit more visual, which I like about Gallery. Also, while yes it's free and I don't object to it being ad-supported, I would generally prefer that an ad-supported app actually say so. But for people who prefer the standard Picasa web interface, this certainly provides that sort of experience on a phone.

Sometimes it fails uploads, about 1 in 10 fail. When viewing pics and trying to ad captions it looses connection to Google quite a lot.

Eh Would be 5 stars but when I upload to my albums it leaves a grey bar at th bottom of all my photos. Some kind of glitch I guess.

Seriously, WTF is up with this app!!! It doesn't let me upload ANY pics to my picasa album. Annoying!

I was very displeased with the Gallery on Android simply because it provides for no sort option. This application does just that and solves an important issue for me. It makes it sooo much easier to locate pictures. What I'd like to see now is caching for the albums and the ability to d/l some of the albums to offline determined by the size of the cache you create.

This is NOT free. It is ‘ad-ware’. It has the most intrusive adverts I have ever seen.
It works ok, in a rather clunky, old-fashioned interface fashion, but the adverts are so annoying I uninstalled it.
If the developer wishes to sell his product he should do it through the proper channels, and should definitely not falsely advertise this as ‘free’. If you don’t have a mobile data plan you will be paying to see those adverts which drive you crazy.
