2. Activate SvoxClassic at the bottom of the screen, then select SvoxClassic as the Default Engine.
3. Open Svox Classic TTS app to browse the voice catalog and download a trial/full voice for your language.
== NOTES ==

2. On Android 2.1 and earlier, only some apps, like Google Translation, support changing voices.

You have to buy voices. Come on people, you believe that a couple bucks is a rip off? Stick with the crappy pico voice then! I love "Grace" best! <3

Works on HTC Incred., Droid 2.2. Works with Accessibility, not MyBackup (saves paid voices only). Fixed TalkToMe Classic V2.0.1(Always-use-my-setting)

I cannot get the droid x our the samsung infuse to find it. every time i go to settings it only shows me one tts service, pico the default.

Nice app but I was disappointed at the price the voice. Three dollars for one voice is too much and there were only five voices to choose from.

Why don't you list this in the sale section instead of not telling the truth.
Albert - 2011-09-27
You buy a Smartphone of whatever variety, pay up the nose for calls, data, and texting...and then you whine about paying $2.99 for Grace. Grow up people or stick with the robot voice than comes with the phone, or better YET, just go back to Tracfone.

Yes you have to pay for them but the voice quality is much better than the Android stock one, and extremely close to a human voice.

Folks don't know how to read Descriptions. It says that it at default only plays DEMO voices. Actual voices costs $. Why would you expect free?
