I downloaded this App today. Used the easy course mapper to map a local course (took about 15 minutes). I took my phone with Skydroid (Google Nexus S) along with my Skycaddie for comparison. On every hole the differences were around 1-2 yards. Plus I only used 10% of my battery power over 9 holes. Love the ability to map my courses instead of waiting. Planning on selling my skycaddie as this app was just as accurate and just looked better

Works well. Put short cut on your home screen, get you yardage, then exit to home screen, relaunch each time for new yardage. Don't leave it running!

Have used now roughly 15 times now. Works great and does not drain the battery with this trick. When you are using it GPS will be on. I press the home button and it goes back to home screen but App is in the background. While app is in the background in a sleep state, GPS is not active. Switch back to SkyDroid app and it takes 2-3 seconds to refresh and bam, just where you left off.
