What's the requirements to run AirDroid?

Was using File expert ftp sharing till date. But Airdroid does a lot more, and beats all of its kind. Plus awesome interface. 5 stars.

I am very impressed with this app, it does actually more than it says it does, and it works ! The UI is good,, I haven't found a problem yet ... and I'm really excited to have a window to my phone now ! Good job guys :)

The app works great, but I couldn't get my MacBook to connect to my phone over WiFi. My phone (Droid Incredible with CM7) was on the same WiFi network, but the MacBook couldn't find the open the address to access my phone. Once I plugged in an ethernet cable it worked great. That kind of defeats a lot of the purpose behind this, but it's still pretty cool.

Does everything as advertised! It is so awesome and it is just a beta :o Just a few things I'd like to see added: -Being able to set permissions on what you can and can't do through a computer -Being able to respond to Whatsapp/G+messenger messages -Being able to make a call using a pc-connected headset -Seeing all notifications that are on your phone (even if you can't interact with them directly)

Amazing! Motorola had a default, far shittier version of this on my stock ROM atrix, this works beautifully for CM7 on my atrix. Looks great too, I love being able to do messaging via my computer.

cool! airdroid v1.0.2 beta works fine on my galaxy 5 with cm7.1 v1.7.2 hotfix 1 using chrome 17.0.942.0 dev-m and firefox 9.0 build 20111122192043! ... feature request to devs: please support https/ssl so that other users (most likely the malicious kind!) on the same wifi network can't sniff and see the traffic going back-and-forth between my desktop/laptop and my android phone ... great start! thanks too android police for a cool find! ;)

All I can say is: WOW!!!

I had been using Remote Desktop for this type of functionalities but man does it pale in comparison to AirDroid!!! SUPER clean GUI! Pre-defined password! Ability to Search contacts! and on and on and on...!!! Like the 'geniuses' at Apple would say: IT JUST WORKS! I can't believe the OVERALL quality of this app! and to top it off is FREE! This is BY FAR my fave/most precious app on my Android (and I have TONS!). IMO it blows Kies Air out of the water lol 10 stars out of a possible 5!!! ;)

Awesome App... 6+ stars (wish I could rate that)!!

Wow! This is probably the most amazing, awesome, ingenious [...] FREE app in a long time. Almost too good to be true... I simply LOVE AirDroid; it's the app I have been waiting for so long. Not only can I browse my EVO 4G or Nook Tablet from my Win7 PC, I can also play tunes stored on either Android gadget - and so much more! Such a great app. Love being able to send/receive text messages from my phone, via my computer/web browser. Since I'm always on my laptop or desktop, it makes it easy to keep in touch via text without having to find my phone. Great for transferring files over too! Looking forward to more future functionality!
