Kernel Manager Pro does the following that KM Lite does not:
-Removes the ads
-Allows use of the kernel filtering menu (which helps users find a kernel that best suits them)
-Notifies you when your installed kernel is updated

-Downloads custom kernels
-Flashes the kernel
-Clears your caches
-Reboots when complete

Why are there two versions (free and paid)? First of all android market supports in app payments to unlock additional features. So you only need one app. Secondary the descriptions don't specify what is different about the two versions. It the paid version is just to donate money for the development effort, that is fine but you need to say that in the description.

App works flawlessly. Those of you having problems are suffering from user error. I've been using this since it came out. It's had typical dev bugs but all the issues I see users whine about with low ratings are all user error.

This is a great idea and works well. Sadly not every device can be flashed with new kernels either because there is none for that device, no one has submitted them to KM, or because of locked bootloaders preventing flashing so YMMV depending on your device. So don't complain if you can't use KM. Also remember KM is just a downloader/installer, don't blame KM if the kernel you chose doesn't work well.

Yes, I'm rooted. I'm running CM 7.1 Decided to use this app as an easier way of finding and flashing kernels Luckily I made a nandroid right before flashing CM 7.1 which I will have to do again. Disappointed :|

it screwed up my wifi (xoom). I e-mailed first like dev asked...haven't gotten a response now my xoom has no wifi. Don't waste your time.

These other guys must be idiots andnot allwoed to root. This worked perfect ..yeah I got the error a couple times but restarted evo and bam! Nice!!!!!
