2GIS is a comprehensive and up-to-date directory of organizations with a detailed city map. It presents only verified information! The application can operate WITHOUT Internet connection since all directory data and maps are installed directly on your phone.

2GIS means:
Current information on over 1.5 million organizations (including public institutions such as hospitals, schools, police stations, and etc.): addresses, phone numbers, e-mail addresses, websites, and working hours;
A detailed 3D map showing number of floors in buildings, driveways, kiosks and fences;
Search public transport routes that take into account transfers and pedestrian crossings.

With 2GIS you will be able to:
Find the location of the company you are looking for, find out its phone number and make a call;
Find a desired location on the map of the city: a building (using its address), a transport stop or just a well-known object;
Click on any building on the map and find out its address, number of floors and organizations that reside there;
Find all companies in a specific business area, view them on the map, and choose the ones that are open at a convenient time (for example, right now);
Find how to get to your destination by public transport;
Identify your location and find out what is close to you.
Once 2GIS is installed, select the city you need to download the data. The application does not require Internet connection to operate with the directories and maps. Afterwards you can receive the most up-to-date information every month with just one click using the built-in automatic update system.

All company information is verified by 2GIS’s own call center and information collection specialists, who update the databases on a monthly basis. 2GIS maps are created by professional cartographers based on up-to-date satellite images and with regular on-site verification.

Отличная программа, народ это вообще справочник, и шикарный справочник, и то что планомерно появляется навигация — это просто великолепно.

Пока от гугла дождешься карты сургута... Буду пользоваться этим. Нареканий нет

Пользоваться невозможно, всё тормозит на HTC Dream

В минимальных технических характеристиках указано 96мб оперативной памяти. У меня как раз столько. Программа запускается, но пользоваться я не могу - всё жутко тормозит (в отличие от яндекс.карт, которые летают). Это какой-то порт версии winmobile, а хотелось бы увидеть нативное приложение. Я бы пользовался яндекс.картами, но они не работают в оффлайне, жаль.
