Hipmunk Flight Search

Hipmunk takes the agony out of finding the best flight & hotel for your trip.

With Hipmunk you'll see all the relevant flights on a timeline, helping you visualize the right choice. Unlike every other app out there, Hipmunk doesn't just show you the cheapest flight first — the app instead sorts by "agony," which incorporates important factors like how long you'll be traveling and how many stops you'll make. Hotel results are shown on a map so that you can see exactly where you'll be staying. You can also turn on heatmaps that will show you the best areas to stay based on unique interests like food, landmarks, nightlife and more.

Hipmunk also makes booking easy. When you've found the right flight or hotel, you can either book it from your mobile device, email it to someone else, or finish booking on your desktop computer.

I don't have to fly often, but a friend showed me this app and I was so impressed I had to install it just to write a review. Its very useful, crisp and clean. More apps should be this polished.

Suggestion: more info. What equipment am I booking? What amenities am I not getting when I pass up business class on Jet Blue, Air France or Amtrak.
