Why does the latest update require access to my phone identity and the internet?

@Aaron

I'm sure it is for ads. That permission provides unique identification of your phone such as IMEI, which uniquely identifies your phone.

Works

Google Maps misdirected me last time I used Map View. Compass view always says I'm yards away even when standing next to car. But app OK

Why does this app need the ability to see my phone identity?

Unexplained Permissions

Used it a lot; but, won't anymore until there is an explanation why they need access to phone state and identity.

Useful and cute

Does the job, and very easy to use. Ad supported, but non-intrusive. Feature request for next release: It would be handy under the harbor menu to snap a photo of the view where you left the car.
