Off-road GPS navigator with offline maps support, compass and track recording.

Use offline maps and GPS even without an internet connection. This app is great for hiking, boating, geocaching and other outdoor activities.

All maps automatically cached for offline use. Use Mobile Atlas Creator to download maps or MAPC2MAPC to convert maps from other formats.

Build-in radar shows the direction, distance and estimated time to a point of interest.

All waypoint stored in KML file and can be viewed and edited in Google Earth.

Tracks are recorded in GPX format and can be viewed in Google Earth and other software.

• Upload tracks to GPSies
Free account is required for uploading.

• Trip Computer
Watch speed, altitude, pitch and many other values.

• Lock compass to bearing
• UTM and OSGB grids
• FourSquare support

We can implement standard Google MapView, but it's limited - no caching and terrain view. If you need it, please email us or leave a comment.

This GPS app is excellent for off-road navigation and can use cached maps, i.e. it doesn't need a wireless datafeed if you have previuosly viewed/download the map area. For those who want/need Google maps, it is very simple/easy to use one of the good alternatives street maps provided by Maverick or use it along side the Google maps app. I have looked at other GPS apps and this one is best for what I want: trekking in the UK.

Very good software! Want to test the pro version!

I used this app for the first time today. It was just awesome to see my track right after coming back home. I strongly recommend this app if you like cycling. It has also a nice "odometer" view where you can keep track of your course in real time, with lots of options. I'll certainly help these guys buying the pro version.

Great app but main nav screen compass consumes constant 100% cpu, so currently ...

Great app but main nav screen compass consumes constant 100% cpu, so currently unusable on Captivate! Add an option to disable or slow down the sample freq of hyperactive compass, then 4 stars (5 when Google stops being evil, sorry).

Do not upgrade loose googlemaps anyone have previous version ?

This is a really good app -- except for one thing. In the latest release, they disabled tiles downloading "at a request from Google". Now we have to use maps from that "other" company. Will give it more stars if they bring Google maps back.
