NY Subway Map

Subway and bus map of New York City (NYC) with bus, railroad and ferry connections.
Official maps from the MTA, updated to January 2012 and movable to the SD card. The app downloads each bus map the first time you open it. Each bus map weights around 2 MB, so I recommend downloading it through Wifi and waiting a couple of minutes.
If a map doesn't download after giving some time, try performing an "empty cache" through the applications menu in your operating system settings.
If you get errors, try the Low-Resolution version, though this should be fine for the vast majority of devices. Users with Android versions prior to 2.0 might experience errors. This app is optimised for Android 2.3 and above
Popup ads were removed long ago, as a response to feedback. Double banners are a bug, please let me know if it persists after update. Send me your suggestions and I'll try to add/fix them.

The nag screen asking for my email address *every time* I use or resume the app is lame. Uninstalled.

Useful map, but the contact data nag screen is really-really-really annoying, please kill it

I used this map for two weeks and finally I don't look like a tourist pulling out my subway map. The pinch and zoom feature is primo! Great app!

Perfect. Just a map. Nothing more, nothing less. Contact screen is annoying as bell though. Lose it for 5 stars. Das Bamf Thunderbolt.

Just the standard subway map. No more no less. Well plus the nag screen but just lie.

I loved this app until I did the latest update and now it asks me to sign up for email updates every time I open it, even if I click on "no thanks". Very annoying when you are standing on the subway platform and you have about 10 seconds before you need to decide whether or not you can take the train that is rolling in. PLEASE revise this annoying functionality in an updated version.

Its a fine app, could use location services though. And the pop up for email is SO annoying I'd rather go online. One "no thanks " should be enough!!

You can find the map online.
