Basemark® X by Rightware® is professional performance evaluation tool for objective cross platform comparisons of game graphics performance between Android, iOS and Windows Phone 8 devices. The benchmark is designed primarily for ARM-based smartphones and tablets on Android 4.0 or upper OS. Basemark X produces high quality and objective performance measurement score. It is unique product, being the only professionally designed benchmark built on top of a real-world game engine, Unity 4. It contains heavy graphics content and pushes tested devices to the limit. So it is recommended to use for high-end devices since low-end devices will run out of graphics memory and can not finish the test.Even for high-end devices, the score is meant to be low since it reflects the real-world graphics performance using frame per second when rendering future games that are similar to what Basemark X shows. Please close all the other applications when running Basemark X so that the graphic memory will not be used up.
