A Review of Slice – Shopping Organized for Android
Do you shop online a lot? If so you’re probably familiar with how big of a pain it is to track packages. A new Android app called Slice – Shopping Organized is set to change that as it allows you organize and track all your shipments right from your phone.
Slice lets you track shipments from FedEx, UPS, and USPS automatically which allows you to put an end to digging through emails while looking for tracking numbers. Sure other apps allow you to track packages, but Slice also backs up your e-receipts and sends push notifications while keeping track of your Groupons, Living Social and Gilt City vouchers. If that’s not enough Slice can also notify you when a recent purchase drops in price so you can contact the seller and recoup the difference when applicable. The app works with Gmail & Yahoo mail and does not automatically detect receipts from non-US merchants. If you’re receipts are automatically sent to another email addresses other than Yahoo or Gmail you’ll probably want to skip this app or open an account with one of those two providers. I don’t see this being an issue as most people I know have one or both of those email accounts.
I’ve been shopping online for 5-6 years now and know how big a hassle tracking numbers can be at times. I can tell you firsthand that Slice works well, is a breeze to use, and will save you a whole lotta’ time. It’s definitely an app you’ll want to check out if you buy a lot of items online and need to track or organize your purchases. You can pick up Slice – Shopping Organized for free on Google Play.
