Adobe bring cloud storage to updated Reader Android app

Adobe has just pushed an updated version of its Reader Android app to Google Play. And responding to the signs of the times, one of the key features brought in by the updated app is support for cloud storage. This is by way of letting you share documents between all of your devices and computers through the Acrobat.com server. Aside from letting you continue reading your documents from one device to another, the app also now lets you edit a document and your edits will be automatically carried out across devices.

Another new feature that Adobe introduced is the enhancement to forms interactivity including field validation, calculation and formatting as well as support for field hierarchies.

Other new features of the updated Reader app for Android include – the ability to create PDF forms that talk back for FormsCentral, additional support for PDFs in Mobile Reader, and better support for selecting and highlighting Asian text.

Adobe Reader is available now as a free download from Google Play store.
