AT&T To Launch Samsung Galaxy Tab On November 21 for $649

The final American carrier to launch the Samsung Galaxy Tab is AT&T, who plans to launch the highly anticipated Android device on November 21 for the high price of $649.

Interestingly, AT&T will be offering the Galaxy Tab with pay-as-you-go rates such as a $14.99 pay-as-you-go plan for 30 days with up to 250 MB of usage and a $25 pay-as-you-go plan for 30 days with up to 2 GB of usage. The nice aspect of pay-as-you-go is no pesky contracts and you can use 3G data as little or as much as you need month to month. As a convenience to AT&T Galaxy Tab owners, AT&T will bundle the usage of its national WiFi hotspots with every purchase. AT&T customers will also receive a $50 Media Hub Movie Rental card for limited time only.

To recap the specs of the Galaxy Tab, it features a 7 inch TFT LCD touch screen, Android 2.2, 3MP rear camera, 1.3MP front facing camera, 1GHz Hummingbird Processor, and 16GB of pre-installed memory.

About the Author

Currently, I live in the United States in the crowded, but enjoyable state of New Jersey. I first began blogging about technology in 2007, right on the precipice of the smartphone, netbook, and GPS boom. Not to mention Facebook and Twitter have started to become increasingly popular during this time period. In terms of Google Android, I have been privileged to test and review many different devices and among my favorites are the Samsung Epic 4G and the HTC Droid Incredible.
