AT&T’s First 4G LTE Smartphone Is Potentially The Samsung Impulse

According to a leaked image received by BGR from a “trusted source,” AT&T’s first 4G LTE smartphone will likely be manufactured by Samsung.  However, it will not be the iconic Galaxy S II, but it is a smartphone that will likely be almost as impressive.

The Samsung Impulse 4G is rumored to be AT&T’s first 4G LTE smartphone, and by the looks of it, it is likely the AT&T equivalent of Verizon’s Droid Charge.  It will be interesting to see if Samsung will stick a dual-core processor inside the Impulse, which would make it a great superphone, given the fact that it will run on AT&T’s 4G LTE network.

If this rumor pans out, I’m sure we’ll be hearing more in terms of rumors and leaks in the coming weeks.  Unfortunately, there is no word on an expected launch time frame or pricing.

About the Author

Currently, I live in the United States in the crowded, but enjoyable state of New Jersey. I first began blogging about technology in 2007, right on the precipice of the smartphone, netbook, and GPS boom. Not to mention Facebook and Twitter have started to become increasingly popular during this time period. In terms of Google Android, I have been privileged to test and review many different devices and among my favorites are the Samsung Epic 4G and the HTC Droid Incredible.
