Best Buy Begins Pre-Orders for the HTC Thunderbolt, Requires a $50 Deposit

Unfortunately, no one knows for sure when the HTC Thunderbolt will launch, it could either be February 14, or February 28, depending on how long Verizon Wireless wants the iPhone 4 to be the hottest new item on their network. Either way, Best Buy is allowing pre-orders for the HTC Thunderbolt starting today. In order to pre-order Verizon’s first 4G device, you must simply go to your local Best Buy and put down the necessary $50 deposit.
It will be nice a feeling know you have secured a HTC Thunderbolt when it launches, but it will probably be a little annoying not knowing for sure when you will be able to pick up this hot new phone.
