Best Buy On Facebook Confirms Thunderbolt Launch for 2/14 and Xoom for 2/24
Android enthusiasts can take some solace in knowing two powerful Android devices are expected to launch later this month while iOS fans are rejoicing the fact that Verizon is now carrying the iPhone 4. According to Best Buy of Grand Rapids’ Facebook account, the highly anticipated HTC Thunderbolt smartphone and Motorola Xoom tablet are expected to launch on February 14 and February 24, respectively. The 1-2 tandem of the Thunderbolt and Xoom is sure to take Verizon Wireless by storm as the first 4G device on the carrier as well as the first tablet running Android 3.0.
The Facebook has since been removed, which adds to the validity of the story. However, we cannot confirm these are the legitimate launch dates, but chances are looking pretty good as Best Buy is almost never wrong.
