Box for Android Updated with New Collaboration Feature, free 50GB upgrade

Box.net is really trying to give Dropbox a good challenge. It just released an updated version of the Box for Android app bringing in new collaboration features as well as granting free 50GB storage upgrade. The update also adds support for several European languages as well as enhanced user interface to be in tune with Android 4.0.

For the new collaboration features, Box for Android now makes it easier for you to add comments on Box files, invite new teammates to folders and more. If you haven’t downloaded the app yet on your Android device or you are having second thoughts on whether to get the update, Box.net is offering something which is hard to resist – 50 GB storage upgrade free for life. Other new features of the app includel – localized support for French, Italian, German and Spanish, the ability to view and add comments to individual Box files, invite teammate to a folder, improved uploading experience, batch uploading of multiple files from an SD card, in-app progress notifications when uploading files, and overhauled user interface.
