Cowon Plenue D3 Android PMP Goes Official

We already told you about the Samsung Galaxy Media Player which will be launched during CES 2011, right? Well, here’s another Android portable media player that might also compete with Apple’s iPod media players – this time it’s from Cowon and dubbed the D3 Plenue. The Cowon D3 Plenue will be running Android 2.1 and is packed with some nice features.

With a 3.7-inch 800×480 AMOLED touchscreen display, the Cowon D3 Plenue will also feature 1080p video playback, Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth, and HDMI output. In addition, Cowon also said that the D3 Plenue will have VoIP capability. How’s that for a PMP, right?

Additional features of the Cowon D3 Plenue include – microSD card support, motion sensor and vibration feedback mechanism, FM radio, 39 equalizer presets and will be loaded with e-book reader and Twitter apps.

No launch date yet was announced but it will most likely be released soon in Korea but CES 2011 is just a few days away so we won’t be surprise if we see the Cowon D3 Plenue Android media player in the said event. Well, at least an imported protoype perhaps?
