Droid X Appears On The Verizon Website
Just yesterday, we learned the specs of the anticipated next generation Droid cell phone by Motorola. Although it was not officially announced by Verizon, Engadget did reveal some of the specs and since Verizon is holding a press event on June 23 for the next generation Droid, it makes perfect sense that Verizon will be launching the Droid X soon after June 23.
Today, Verizon added the Droid X to a splash spage containing the original Droid by Motorola and the Droid Incredible by HTC. Unfortunately, under the image of the Droid X is the annoying phrase “Coming Soon.” Hopefully, we will learn shortly the exact availability date as well as the price. As of now, rolling over the image of the Droid X will display three key specs about the new Droid smartphone. The three specs are 4.3 inch touch screen, 720p screen, and HDMI out functionality.
It will be interesting to see what news breaks over the next couple of days. The Droid X is definitely gaining a lot of attention and should be another highly anticipated launch by Verizon and Motorola.
