EA bringing Need for Speed Most Wanted to Android
As a huge fan of the entire Need for Speed franchise, the news that gaming giants Electronic Arts (EA) are bringing a version of Need for Speed Most Wanted to Android makes me go all warm inside. The Need for Speed gaming series has been one of the most successful franchises in gaming history and certainly one of the must have racing games on several formats and now EA have announced that Need for Speed Most Wanted will speed on to the Android market place later this month.
EA Mobile have just released a preview trailer for the game which, in conjunction with gaming developer Firemonkeys, will be the latest arrival of a Need for Speed game in the mobile market. EA Mobile promise that NFS Most Wanted for Android will include features such as the expected cop takedown battering action along with ‘dynamic physics based collisions’ and realistic looking damage to vehicles including the almighty Dodge Challenger SRT8 392, the powerful yet beautiful Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale and the sleek and sexy Porsche 911 Carrera S.
The video isn’t the longest preview video we’ve ever seen but, with the game coming fairly soon to Android devices, we can see for ourselves how the game play pans out. There are no details available regarding how much the game might cost when it comes to the Google Play store however, the other ‘similar’ releases in the EA range cost $6.99 to buy so perhaps EA will take Need for Speed Most Wanted onto the Android market in that kind of price range.
