Fring Android App Updated, Playgrounds Feature Added

Fring has just announced that their Android app which lets you do video chat with friends over WiFi and 3G/4G network has been updated. The update brings in a new feature called Playgrounds which is simply a fun new way of chatting with your friends to discuss your common favorite subjects.

According to Fring, you can use the Playgrounds  feature will let you join or create Group Video Chats about your favorite subjects with friends and new people. With a 140 character limit, the Playgrounds video chat will ensure that you and your friends will be sending out messages that are truly important and relevant to the subjects that you are discussing.

One good thing about Fring Playgrounds is that it works across mobile platforms – that means you and your friends can chat in a Playground session whether on an iPhone, iPad or Android devices.

Fring Video app for Android is available now as a free download from the Android Market.
