Google+ Android App Update Brings Hang-Out in Messenger
Right after updating its Google+ service on the web, Google has immediately updated the Google+ Android app as well. This comes right after new features such as photo tagging, hashtags, and instant hang outs have been introduced recently. Now, with the new version of Google+ Android app you’ll be able to enjoy this awesome feature – the ability to start a hang-out right inside the Google+ Messenger.
Alright, for those who are not using Google+ Android app, it actually consists of several features aside from letting you read your Google+ Stream. At the app’s main screen you’ll see five options namely, Stream, Photos, Profile, Circles and Messenger. Messenger is the facility for starting threaded conversations with any of your friends in your Google+ Circles. So, now aside from the chat feature, you can now also start a Google+ Hangout.
Of course, your Android phone needs to have a front-facing camera to enjoy this feature. The same goes true for your friends whom you’ll be holding a hangout with.
Aside from this feature, the updated Google+ Android app also comes with a redesigned interface for viewing your Photo gallery, new icons which show which of your photos have already been uploaded to Google+, people suggestions when composing a messenger conversation and the usual round of bug fixes.
Google+ Android app is available now as a free download from the Android Market.
