HTC Likely to Save the Big Guns for MWC 2012
With CES 2012 right around the corner, many of us are anxiously awaiting the debut of heavy hitting quad-core powered smartphones and tablets. However, it looks like one well known manufacturer may wait until Mobile World Congress in February to unleash their quad-core machines.
HTC is expected to be relatively quiet this CES in terms of which types of phones and tablets it chooses to unveil. Digitimes is currently reporting that HTC is going to use MWC 2012 as the opportunity to introduce smartphones and tablets running NVIDIA’s Tegra 3 quad-core processor equipped with Qualcomm’s LTE processor.
According to recent rumors, HTC is expected to release a few quad-core powered smartphones such as the HTC Edge and HTC Ville. It will definitely be interesting to see if Samsung, Motorola, or LG choose to take advantage of CES and announce their new flagship devices.
